In the last week or two, he has discovered his hands. He brings them up to his face and looks at them, pulling on his fingers, sticking them in his mouth, and moving them around. It's pretty cute!
He's less interested in rolling over these days. He can prop himself up on his hands when he's on his tummy, and hold his head up for a long time. I don't think it will be much longer before he's crawling! He loves to stand, too. If he allows you to sit while holding him, he wants to be standing! His favorite thing is to stand, propped up against Wes's legs while Wes is sitting in his chair. That way he can see the TV really well, which he also loves!
Sebastian is sleeping better at night for the most part. He had a few nights last week where he was up to eat twice, but usually he just wakes up once around 3 or 4am to eat, and then goes back to sleep. He has slept through the night twice...it was nice, but I woke up several times in disbelief that he was still asleep and had to check on him!
Dave and Joanna Bantam from Colorado came out for New Year's and to meet Sebastian. We haven't seen them since we went to the Virgin Islands with them for their wedding in May!
Sebastian playing with his hands...a passtime that occupies much of his awake time now! He'll hold a rattle and shake it around with a look of utter delight on his face!
Leaning up on daddy's legs to look around. He's so curious! He has to be able to see, or he gets mad!
Watching TV.
Bath time! He has discovered if he kicks his legs, water splashes all over!
