Colorado Road Trip

Wes, Sebastian and I made the trek out to Denver to visit friends. We stayed with Dave and Joanna Bantam (Wes's friends from Orleans that we went to the British Virgin Islands with last year for their wedding) in Denver. We drove out on Friday, and Sebastian did pretty well. We took highway 36, and there aren't a lot of places to stop, but we did find a small town with a Pizza Hut in Kansas for lunch, and we made it in good time out to Denver. Once we baby-proofed a little bit, Sebastian had fun dashing around the house in his walker. After an amazing dinner, with Sebastian in bed, we sat outside and soaked up a little night mountain air. Glorious! I really miss the weather there.
On Saturday, I took Sebastian and drove up to Breckenridge with my girlfriends from college in Boulder, Teera and Erin, and we met up with our friends Michael and Jessica. They were playing and singing with an orchestra up there, so we got to see the rehearsal. Sebastian danced the whole time. He loves music! He sways back and forth. We had a nice visit, and Sebastian slept the whole way up and back. Yea--Teera is not exactly a baby person, so I'm glad he cooperated!
Sunday we spent the day with Dave and Joanna, doing some shopping and bargin hunting, and then hit the road. It was a quick trip, but it was great to see everyone. Thanks for having us!

Wes and Sebastian...already back asleep Saturday morning. Sebastian woke up before 6 am, and they were back asleep by 8am...while I had to hit the road for Breckenridge!

Sebastian and I in Breckenridge. Isn't it pretty!

My girlfriends from College, as gorgeous as ever. From left to right, NYC opera singer, Jessica; LA music teacher Erin, Boulder cellist/actuary, Teera.
