We've been trying to get outside and enjoy this nice weather every chance we get. We sat outside last weekend and watched Wes mow the yard. Sebastian enjoyed sitting on his tractor. He doesn't scoot on it, but he'll stand up and walk a little ways on it, and then sit back down. Jack hung out with us, too. He doesn't run around much because he has a partially torn ACL in his back right leg. Poor doggy.
Wes's sister, Connie, got Sebastian a bubble machine for his birthday. We took it outside the other night for a little bit, and Sebastian had a blast with the bubbles!
After months of the army crawl, I'm happy to report Sebastian finally figured out how to crawl on his hands and knees, thus figuring out how to push back over to sitting up. Before, if he fell over or was playing on his back or tummy, he couldn't get back up to sitting. He's also learned how to pull up on just about everything...including his crib. The first time I saw him standing in his crib, I was getting him up in the morning. I was shocked to see him standing there smiling at me when I walked in his room! He was so proud. Wes peeked in on him during naptime once, and he was standing up playing with the paintings on his wall I did of little animals. He was talking to them...it was sooo cute! For about a week, he couldn't figure out how to lay back down, so he'd stand up in the middle of the night, and then start crying, because he was stuck standing, and he had thrown all (we leave like 3 or 4 pacifiers in there for him because most of them end up on the floor...he likes to throw things) of his pacifiers on the floor! There were a few sleepless nights, but he's figured out how to plop back down and go to sleep.

I think it won't be long until he's walking. He cruises all over the house, between whatever he can grab on to. He tries to stand up all the way from the floor without holding on to anything, and he doesn' quite get his legs far enough under him, and he gets stuck in the "downward dog" yoga position, on his hands and feet with his butt in the air! Then he looks up at me like, "help, mommy!"
We had some pictures taken with my sister Erin's triplets last weekend. I'll post some of those soon. They turned out really cute!!
