We spent a lot of time outside that one nice week we had…and now back to snow! Sebastian has spent a lot of time this weekend looking out the window. We have been doing some fun things. Wes’s friends John and Tammy from Missouri came up for a visit. They have a little guy that is exactly Sebastian’s age, and now that they are both walking, we thought they’d have a blast playing. It turns out that their 3-year old had even more fun with Sebastian than the one that’s Sebastian’s age! He pushed Sebastian around in his Cozy Couple all weekend. They really had fun.
Wes and I are making progress in our basement finishing project. I’ll have to take some pictures to put up. We have the bedroom done, so we were finally able to move the bed out of the middle of the living room. We got a TV, and we’ve been spending some time down there the last few weeks. Sebastian loves going down there (mostly because he loves going up and down the stairs!). It’s a whole new adventure, and a bunch of different toys. Of course, he seems to find non-toy things to play with. This morning we were down there, and he found a pheasant feather (Wes had a bunch of them sticking in a jar from hunting, and the cats will pull them out and play with them) and carried it around chasing the cat with it. Then he threw a golf ball on the tile floor and chased that around. Seriously…why spend money on toys!
We have spring fever! We are already listing off all of our projects for outside as soon as it warms up again. I can’t wait to let Sebastian out to explore and run around. He loves being outside, so he’ll have a blast.
Here’s Sebastian with Blayke and Brody from Missouri. The blue boots are his new favorite thing to wear around the house. Wes couldn’t get him to take them off. Also, as you can see from the bottom picture, his hair grows so fast! He’s already had 2 haircuts, and he needs another already. It’s so long!
