We’ve been playing outside as much as we can. Sebastian will literally run laps around the house! He is a bundle of energy. After a bunch of rain, he found the fun of splashing in puddles of water! I put his rain boots on and let him go to town. He splashed around for over an hour, throwing rocks into puddles and kicking water all over. He was soaked!
Sebastian is talking up a storm. He has lots of new words, and tries to say new words all the time. Today when I picked him up at daycare, Gina, our daycare provider, gave Sebastian a little photo album with pictures of all the kids at daycare. He flipped through it all the way home (which takes about 25 minutes!) and just talked and pointed to the pictures. I think he was trying to say their names. He was just mesmerized! It was so precious listening to him jabber all the way home. I love those moments!
Summer is here, and we don’t have too much planned. I’ve already played some weddings, and have several more coming up. I’m hoping to take it kind of easy, although I will be studying and composing a little bit to get ready for school in August. I’m also busy helping get dad’s new office ready to open at the end of June. Hopefully we’ll have a family vacation and lots of going to the swimming pool and playing outside! Have a great summer!
