We were invited to the Lincoln Children’s Zoo last Tuesday. The Zoo was rented out for a private party, so there were free pony and train rides. The kids were super excited! It was really hot that day (one of our 95 degree days), but the kids were so excited it didn’t matter. We had some tired, red-faced kids by the end of the night!
Sebastian was such a big boy, and he rode the horse and loved it! We always point at all of the horses on our way to town, so he was especially excited to see them up close.
They all wanted to feed the goats (well, except for Grace, who was scared to touch them). Sebastian giggled every time the goats nibbled on his fingers. He had so much fun!
We finished off the evening with a train ride. Since then Sebastian says “Choo-choo” all the time! I hope we have time to go a couple more times this summer. He loves animals!
